“Since this year we are celebrating 120th film anniversary, a lady of a certain age has dived out as the part of the visual; representing the metaphor of longevity of the film and seriousness of this year’s programme. Nowadays, in the sea of different movies, we often need a good filter. By looking through “swimming goggles” the festival makes its selection; the shape of the goggles is similar to the figure 8 and with its rotation we have a symbol of infinity.” represented Karlo Kazinoti the visual.
Mediterranean Film Festival during its 8th edition, from 5th to 13th June remains faithful to its usual locations: summer movie theatre “Bačvice”, movie theatre “Zlatna Vrata” and Art Gallery cinema, in the patio of Art Gallery’s café.
The abundant movie programme that will offer the best of Mediterranean recent cinematography and the good vibe during the nine days of the festival are the reason why the season of vacations and nights out start exactly with the first day of Mediterranean Film Festival.
Summer visual identity of the festival is, as it has been for the past years, is signed by Karlo Kazinoti, a designer from Split.
“The emerging” of the full programme of this year’s festival is announced for 25th May, however online sale of festival tickets has already started in limited edition, for our loyal audience that wants to avoid the crowded box offices and together with a few free screenings, they also get festival bags, free drinks, free visits to Kino Mediteran, etc.
Online ticket sale for each movie, in cooperation with AgentCASH, starts on 25th May when the full programme will be released. Festival box offices will open on 1st June, and ticket prices are still the same: 25kn for movies at summer movie theatre “Bacvice” and 20kn for movies at movie theatre “Zlatna Vrata.” Al other screenings during the festival will be for free.
