With a clear mission of fostering education through entertainment and occurring challenges faced over the years, our Industry program has developed and launched a series of successful program activities, annually eagerly awaited, enriching the program with new and exciting activities even this year.
It will kick off with an interactive workshop for children, culminating with the creation of a short animated film, developed in several stages by Hana Tintor, Petra Cicvarić, and Ivan Đuričić.
We will continue with the beloved workshop Give your voice for the cinema!, led this year by actor and director Ivan Đuričić in the well-known Pilot studio, as well as a film poster design workshop in collaboration with Split Nomad Gallery, led by Ivana and Julija Antunović.
The workshop Turn Your Idea into a Game, led once again by Josip Barun, and this year complemented by the Croatian Audiovisual Centre’s program Cinema, Game, Film featuring a short film screening and following film analysis, and the presentation of a new video game, Bura - The Way the Wind Blows, created by Rea Burić.
The newest addition is the screenwriting workshop Script Spot, aimed at feature and animated film projects for children and youth aged 5 to 15, being mentored by Danish screenwriter, director, and producer Mariella Harpelunde Jensen.
Another addition is the attractive Self Tape workshop for actors, focusing on increasing the visibility of Croatian talents on the international market, as well as improving their representation, being carried out by renowned casting directors Kate Rhodes James and Francesco Vedovati.
For Croatian independent cinema exhibitors, we are hosting the Bootcamp training in partnership with Europa Cinemas, and along with workshops, we are continuing with talks and engaging discussions about films, the importance of diverse locations and talents, as well as addressing key issues in the (online) lives of young people, who are consuming films and digital contents in various forms more than ever.
Join us for this unique blend of education and creativity, transforming Split into the center of cinematic creation!
Welcome!
