Tonight at Gripe Fortress, the premiere of the Albanian candidate for the Oscar is screened, a documentary film in which the director and screenwriter Ardita Sadiku takes us on an epic journey of a group of brave people.

A real film festivities and a sold-out screening on the occasion of the opening of the 17th Mediterranean Film Festival Split at the Bačvice Open-air Cinema rolled around.

From this Thursday until next Saturday, Split will be the site of numerous film premieres, the audience of the 17th Mediterranean Film Festival Split can expect a record 107 films from 41 countries, which will be shown in six different programmes at four locations.

In recent years, the Mediterranean Film Festival Split has become an increasingly well-known meeting place for film professionals, but also more and more the key place in the education and upbringing of new audiences through numerous lectures, masterclasses and workshops held during the 10 days of FMFS.
